Introduction

Hello,

My name is Katie, I'm a recent graduate from the University of Puget Sound. I majored in Economics and minored in business and partying. I recently started a consulting job out here in Seattle; I get to spend my day working at The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Not to sound corny but I feel really cool when I'm in there because I'm like this is where change happens. Before you graduate they try to sell you on perks of different companies, like we have a playground or homemade sushi bar. So far while at the Foundation I've discovered that it has pretty good coffee that comes out of a fancy machine. FREE CHOCOLATE! (definitely a bonus on sleepy days), a large cafeteria and endless amounts of bars. A note on the bars, you have to watch for the delivery people because if your slow you wind up with the gross chalky tasting bars... no one wants those...

In other news I'm currently house hunting with two of my gal pals from school, we are trying to make the big decision into real adult hood. So far I feel like I'm playing a giant game of cat and mouse because you always feel like your close and then it just slips away. I'm currently trying to think of a way give myself a competitive advantage, so if anyone has any house hunting tips feel free to share :)
